Avenger of the Voiceless Exploited

My name is Tallon Drake. I come from easten lands, a traveler singing the tales of the greatest adventurers Britania has ever seen. I have never conveyed a story before in written form, but feel that this is one story that should be spread further more than my weary legs can carry me.

This is the tale of Zhelavar, mighty warrior, expert archer, and protecter of the voiceless exploited.

Once long ago, the lands of east of Skara Brae, where a magestic site, filled with life. The animals there enjoyed peace and serenity, sheltered from the oppression of man. It was one of the few places that the power and energy of pure nature existed in the Britanian lands. But, soon, the reach of Lord British and his civilized people invaded this utopia and brought with them destruction. The peaceful fields soon became over-run with houses and shops, vendors and adventurers, seeking to exploit the gifts of nature for their own vile purpose. The forest and its dwellers stood alone against the corrupting influence called "progress." Until, Zhelavar appeared. This powerful worrior saw the rape of the forest and weeped. She vowed to avenge the forest and act as its personal guardian.

Some have suggested that perhaps, she is the last from the line of indigenious people from this scared place, but one thing can be said:  Her skill and vengence is only surpassed by her stunning beauty.

So travelers and seekers of adventure beware. The forest has a savior, and her name is Zhelavar. I know this story is true, for I have met her twice in these woods. The first time, I was so taken with her beauty that she beat me to unconsciousness, then commanded me to "LEAVE THE FOREST!" The second time, through a dire plea, she spared my life, but only after reminding me of her skill as a warrior.

To Lord British, and his other minions of "civility," I warn:  The woods have fangs, which strike without warning, infilicting a venom that no one can resist!.
