SC3D: A Christmas-themed Wolfenstein 3D mod

In November of 1994, I got the idea to make a Christmas mod of Wolf 3D for some holiday hack-n-slash fun. The result was “Santa Claws 3D” which can be downloaded here (979k). You’ll more than likely need DOSBox or another DOS emulator to get it running as the game itself is over two decades old.

The custom title screen was created both for two reasons - add a cool intro and pass command line parameters without using a .BAT file.

I gave myself three weeks to complete it, shooting for a Total Conversion (TC) but ending up with a reasonably good mod. Edited content included:

• enemies
• wall and object art
• eight levels of gameplay
• loader EXE with intro screen

If he looks a bit DOOM-ish, there's a very good reason for that.
